I am a Bassist with a relatively broad experience. I have been living in Basel since 2005 (Ich kann auch Deutch reden.) I am a Norwegian, and I play Bass-guitar as my main instrument. I also play accoustic Guitar, and also the South-American Charango. I have played in various bands over the last 15 years, including Rock, Soul, Jazz standards and blues. I am also an educated music teacher from Norway, and in my youth I was leading various Gospel-Choirs.

My most recent musical experience are focusing on Bluesjam. I have been happily participating in Jamsessions in Switzerland over the last 2 years. These are partially documented under the lined Youtube page.

My most recent band experience was the Pocketband in Basel.  Our motto was „We play honest music“.

The Pocketband was estabished late spring 2014, as a guitarist, a bassist and a lady singer met to check out if they could play music together. This worked very well! Unfortunately the band was discontinued in spring 2016.

The idea of the band was to play „big songs in a small group“. We were covering famous songs, trying to make our own version of them sometimes changing tempo and style, but often also being true to the original groove of the song. We had a good feeing about our concept, and we noticed that our audience have had big smiles and always enjoyed our gigs.

Our ambition was not to become famous, but to enjoy playing together and develop a good set of songs that people like to hear!
