singer seeking musicians for future sonic shenanigans Basel-Stadt

hello fellow basel-based musicians

my name is gioia, i am a swiss singer and i am looking for new people to make music with. i moved back from london a few years ago after finishing my music degree and am on the search for local musicians and collaborators for future sonic shenanigans.

whether you’re an existing band looking for a singer, a producer or songwriter in need of a co-writer, or someone looking to start a new project, i’m very open to different concepts.

as far as genres go, i enjoy singing and writing heavily vocally layered songs within the genres of folk, indie, pop and soul, but i also have experience in other genres such as more electronic music, classical, country or jazz. i tend not to enjoy singing heavier or very rocky music as much, so if you’re looking for an experienced hardcore growler, i won’t be your girl.

i have attached a vocal reel where you can get an overview of some performances, as well as some of my own original songs (conveniently marked “original”) to give you an impression of what my vibe is.

ideally, i’d love to find semi-professional musicians with a high musical standard who are open to having fun and figuring out together what a joint sound could look like.
