Hey, internet stranger,
Since you landed here, the probability is high that you’d like to start a band and you couldn’t find the right people in your friend circle. That’s my case as well.

Hi, I’m Anna, 18 years old, and in the past few years I have collected the playing-music experience here and there. At first I started off with violin when I was about 8 years old, then switched to piano after half a year of playing the 4 strings and played it for around 3 years. In the meantime I moved to Switzerland in 2018 and continued my journey with keys here for another 2 years. After that I had a break from playing any music, but it didn’t take long for me to join our high school band as a singer half a year later. Another six months passed, and I realized that I wanted to switch from vocals to an electric guitar (as of now, 3 years of experience) for the last semester in my high school. I didn’t only play guitar, though; I also had the chance to pick up a bass for some band lessons and extend my music skills a little with it. Rarely, but I also got into playing drums, nothing complicated, just simple beats at a maximum of 140 bpm. Since then I strum on my guitar from time to time and sometimes accompany my vocals with it.
So what I’m looking for here are some people who are also interested in playing music (doesn’t matter if it’s covers of other bands or playing our own songs). The most important thing for anyone who will apply is that you genuinely enjoy playing together with others and that it brings you as much joy as it does to me. Bassists, drummers, keytarists, and lead/rhythm guitarists are welcomed.
About my music taste, it is a mix of different genres: goth, metal, punk, hard rock, a bit of indie rock, etc.
Currently I’m absolutely into artists like (most to least listened to): Type O Negative, Marilyn Manson, BMTH, MSI, Early music of the Arctic Monkeys, Morphine, Alice in Chains, SOAD, Kino, The Black Keys, Epolets, Pornofilmy, The White Stripes, RHCP, The nbhd and many more from different genres and different countries.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any rehearsal room for practicing, so there’s definitely a huge advantage on your side if you have one that is not too far away from where I live (I have an SBB year card for the whole Zurich region).
Also, as a side note, I am fluent in German (Swiss German included) and speak another 3 languages fluently, among which is English.
